Fresh air, sunshine, movement, beautiful scenery, the quiet and calm energy of the woods, meaningful connection with others, and the opportunity to soak in the nourishing, rebalancing qi of the natural world.
Join me on Saturday, July 18th as we explore the stunning Cascade Lake Loop in Warwick, NY. Together we'll enjoy scenic lake views, forest trails, breathtaking overlooks, and a gentle Qi Gong practice in nature, all with the support of a professional guide team. This is a chance to get away from it all, reconnect with nature, and share a beautiful day with a wonderful community.

About the hike
The Cascade Lake Loop is an easy to moderate hike of approximately 3.5–4 miles with about 500 feet of elevation gain. We'll move at a comfortable, unhurried pace with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the scenery and connect with one another.
Our journey begins with a peaceful walk alongside beautiful Cascade Lake before heading into the woods and gradually climbing to the ridgeline where we meet the Appalachian Trail. Here we'll pause to take in one of the area's most spectacular panoramic views.
From there we'll follow the ridgeline, enjoying breathtaking views of Greenwood Lake, Bearfort Mountain, and Prospect Rock. The second half of the hike brings us gently back downhill through the forest, offering time to relax and enjoy the beauty around us

About our professional hiking guides
Our hike is led in partnership with the Trailbound Project, an experienced professional outdoor guide team. Our guides provide navigation, safety support, first aid supplies and emergency equipment throughout the hike.
After the hike (optional)
Those who wish are invited to join us for a late lunch at Pennings Farm Market in Warwick.
Pennings offers delicious food, a relaxed farm market atmosphere, and a variety of fresh local products to browse and purchase. Lunch is optional and not included in the registration fee.
Who this is for
This experience is ideal for those who enjoy being outdoors and are comfortable walking approximately 4 miles on uneven terrain. No hiking experience is necessary. We'll move at a comfortable pace with time to enjoy the scenery and appreciate the beauty of the natural world.
What to know

• Hiking boots or trail shoes are recommended
• In the event of significant rain, the hike will be rescheduled
